It has been quite a year for Shannon Beador. The Real Housewives of Orange County star just celebrated her 55th birthday, and her co-star Gina Kirschenheiter praised Beador for being “one tough mother” during her nasty divorce from ex, David Beador.
Since she split from David in October 2017, Shannon has started her own business, dropped more than 40 pounds, and has moved on to the next phase of her life. Meanwhile, David is begging the court to lower his child and spousal support payments because Shannon is out-earning him almost three-to-one.

Shannon has been celebrating her birthday all week – she officially turned 55 on Monday, March 25th – with friends and family, and she has been keeping fans up-to-date on all her birthday outings with posts on Instagram. One birthday celebration was with her three daughters, and she also celebrated her dad’s 90th birthday a week earlier.
She also posted a selfie with Kirschenheiter, making it clear that they have mended their relationship after constantly butting heads on RHOC last season.
As for her divorce from David, he has asked the courts to lower his monthly support payments because he says she made $1.4 million last year, while he pulled in just $500,000.
According to The Blast, David is currently paying Shannon $22,500 a month for child and spousal support, and he wants the court to factor in her income from her Real for Real Cuisine line, her pay raise on RHOC, and her income from promotional appearances and sponsorship deals so his support payments can be recalculated.

Shannon says that she made $583,338 in 2018 from RHOC, but she’s got bills that total more than $30,000 each month and she owes hundreds of thousands in taxes – not to mention her business expenses – so she says David is a bit off when it comes to her income.
Both Shannon Beador and David attended a court hearing last month, and the judge denied David’s motion to lower support. However, the judge did say that he would hear the issue during their April trial.
